About

Hello, welcome to my site.

Do you need help with research, proofreading, copywriting and developing your social media? If so, I can help.

I’m a writer, historian, and researcher based in Fife, Scotland, with a particular interest in Art, Music and History.

I have over 20 years experience in learning, research, interpretation and the museum sector.

I am a regular contributor to Folk Radio UK and Songlines Magazine. My writing can be found in Living Tradition Magazine, the British Art Journal, Tate Gallery online, the Scottish Society for Art History Journal, and Historic Environment Scotland blog amongst others.

I have also developed, and contributed to various websites, including the Tate’s Camden Town Group In Context, and In Focus: William Rothenstein’s ‘Doll’s House’ projects.

I have considerable project management experience in the heritage sector, having researched and developed The Orchar Collection: Prints website, a joint project between The McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery and Museum and the University of St Andrews. In 2019 I also project managed, and co-authored, the HMS Unicorn Guidebook.
